Biodiversity at the Heart of the Garden
Skerries Mills Community Garden is designed to support local wildlife, protect pollinators and create a thriving natural space for the community to enjoy. Through pollinator-friendly planting, wildflowers, herbs and carefully managed habitats, the garden helps provide food and shelter for bees, butterflies and other important species.
The garden also plays a role in supporting the rare Large Carder Bee, making biodiversity a key part of everything we do.
